The Garlic Shed was established in 2019 in the picturesque Capertee Valley, located in the central western region of NSW. We love using garlic and quickly realised that a large percentage of the garlic on the Australian market is imported. From this point, we embarked on our garlic growing journey on our property in Warruga (Aboriginal word that means "good view").

During the Summer months, time is spent improving the soil and rebuilding raised beds, ready for the replanting of new cloves. Throughout the next eight months, many hours are spent hand weeding, mulching and watering. In November, we harvest and cure the garlic for it to be ready for purchasing in December. We currently grow Duganski, Australian Red and Australian White varieties.
 
We look forward to producing great Australian garlic well into the future as our family embarks on the Garlic adventure - Honest garlic, full of flavour.
